Como yerbera, educadora comunitaria y escolar, y terapeuta somática de trauma (Somatic Experiencing® - SE) basada en la Ciudad de México desde 2003, ofrezco sesiones de SE, consultas herbolarias y talleres que buscan acompañar a la gente en el desarrollo de y reconexión con nuestras capacidades individuales y colectivas para la sanación personal, familiar y comunitaria. Trabajo con una escala de variable de tarifas y desde el apoyo mutuo, y estoy autorizada para dar sesiones individuales a alumnxs de SE de nivel principiante.

 

Acompaño a personas a nivel local en la Ciudad de México (tanto en persona como en línea), a nivel nacional e internacional con diversos patrones de trauma que pueden surgir de una miríada de experiencias, desde violencia sexual y adversidad infantil hasta duelo y trauma relacional, y situaciones más específicas de violencia comunitaria y desplazamiento, así como a sobrevivientes de persecución, violencia estatal y encarcelamiento. Formo parte del equipo de facilitadores de la maestra Mahshid Hager en la formación en SE en las cohortes de San Francisco, California.

 

Tengo una larga historia organizando y trabajando en colectivo y comunidades dentro y fuera de la Ciudad de México desde una visión de anti-opresión, reducción de daños y liberación con un enfoque en la educación y salud comunitaria y popular. Junto con lxs compañerxs de Axolote Radio, tenemos un programa de radio llamado "Las Que Nos Cuidan: Re-Tejiendo Nuestras Relaciones con las Plantas y sus Saberes".

 

Educación/Formación:

 

· Formación y certificación en Somatic Experiencing®. Estudié SE con Berns Galloway, Joshua Sylvae, Dea Parsanishi y Raja Selvam. La mentoría, guía, acompañamiento y supervisión de casos de Sage Hayes y de Cris Ávila durante y después de la formación han sido elementos fundamentales en este camino y no sería quien soy sin ellxs.

As an herbalist, community and school educator, and Somatic Experiencing® (SE) practitioner based in Mexico City since 2003, I offer SE sessions, herbal consultations, and workshops that seek to accompany people in developing and reconnecting with our individual and collective capacities for personal, family, and community healing. I work with a sliding fee scale and through mutual aid, and am authorized to provide personal sessions to beginner-level SE students.

 

I accompany people both in-person and online locally in Mexico City, nationally, and internationally with diverse patterns of trauma that can arise from a myriad of experiences, from sexual violence and childhood adversity to grief and relational trauma, and more specific situations of community violence and displacement, as well as survivors of persecution, state violence, and incarceration. I am also part of Mahshid Hager's team of SE teacher’s assistants in the San Francisco, California cohorts.

I have a long history organizing and working in collectives and communities inside and outside of Mexico City from a vision of anti-oppression, harm reduction and liberation with a focus on community and popular education and health. Together with my compas from Axolote Radio, we have a radio program called "Las Que Nos Cuidan: Re-Tejiendo Nuestras Relaciones con las Plantas y sus Saberes".

- Since 2011 I have been studying and receiving advice from teacher Linda Bergh in the Study of Biography (from Anthroposophy) by seven-year periods, cycles and mirrors. I have also coordinated and accompanied as an interpreter (ENG-ESP) the trainings that Linda has given in Mexico.
